Cintiq 21UX no display

Postby Masterlow » Wed 27. Feb 2019, 16:54

I have a Cintiq 21UX connected to an iMac alu running OS 10.9.5. The tablet isn’t displaying and the pointer of the mouse can’t pass across to the tablet while the pen is fully working on the computer. Neither the On Screen Menu display. Beside that, I dont have access to part of the monitor control panel because it is on the tablet screen. I tried “detect monitors” and the tablet Utility app many times as well as wires checks. I’m suspecting a DVI adapter/connection problem but any idea is welcome. Thanks

Try replacing the DVI cables and see if that helps. Otherwise, you will need to have the device checked.

Well, for anyone interested, it was the mini-DVI output of the Mac that was broken (kind of no more contact). I bought a new used Mac with Thunderbolt and everything's fine.
Thanks
