Cintiq 22HD W10 - Recognized by laptop but No Signal (orange LED)

Postby lauried » Sun 4. Aug 2019, 16:04

Hello, I am having troubles with my Cintiq 22HD. It was working completely fine for a few months with my laptop (Acer Aspire F 15) on Windows 10, until it stopped working. (Sorry if I use the wrong terms sometimes, I am not english native.)

The Cintiq is detected by my computer, I can find it in the device manager (under the name "Generic PnP Monitor", the driver has the latest update), in the Wacom Desktop Center (it is detected as "Cintiq 22HD"), but the screen of the Cintiq stays black and the LED is orange. When I shut down the Cintiq and turn it on again, it gives me the "No signal" message and goes to sleep, with the black screen + orange LED again.

I thought it was maybe a problem with the cable, but 1. my computer detects the Cintiq so it shouldn't be that and 2. I tried with another laptop and it works just fine, the Cintiq displays the screen normally like there was no problem.

It also doesn't seem to be a problem with the display options, I tried the "Duplicate" and "Extend" options and the issue remains the same.

I tried updating so many drivers, I tried so many stuff from forums but I just can't find the solution. Does anyone know about this problem or may have a solution of some kind? I would appreciate it greatly because I am now stuck in my work. Thank you very much in advance.

Hi,
Looks the like the issue is on your PC. Did you update Windows and/or the Graphics Card drivers recently?

I did update Windows not long before the issue. But it was working well at the beginning even though I had updated it. I think the graphics card drivers were also automatically updated, but I tried reinstalling them yesterday anyway, with no result.

There could be a problem with your hdmi port. Can you try hooking up a different display like your tv and see if it works

I tested out on my TV and it works. I guess it's probably an issue with Windows then.
