Anyway to go back to default Pen Calibration?

Postby SharkX » Thu 12. Sep 2019, 01:20

So for whatever reason, my Pen was way off calibration today. So for the first time, I used the Pen Calibrate Option and fixed it so it isn't way off anymore. Now it's a tiny bit off, so I can't draw so well anymore. It's not as accurate or precised as it was when I got it fresh out of the box. Now each stroke is off. I can't close circles very well or anything anymore. No matter how many times I try to re-calibrate, no matter how many ways I click on the targets, it's always off an inch or two from the default calibration. Anyway to set that back to default so I can finally return to drawing?

This sounds like an issue with the graphics driver / resolution of your Cintiq or with the mapping of the resolution to the pen grid
Thus please:
1) Update your graphics driver and set the correct resolution and eventually magnification in your OS
2) Remove all Preferences from the Wacom driver - best by first updating to the latest version from http://www.wacom.com/support/product-support/drivers and then opening the Wacom Desktop Center, go to "Backup Settings" and click "Reset Settings".

Everyone I asked keeps telling me to upgrade the driver, but I can't upgrade it when it keeps telling me it IS the latest version. I'll try the Backup Settings. I didn't know about those.

EDIT: Yeah the Reset Setting worked. Thanks.
