Replacement cable for Cintiq 24HD Touch?

Postby pulsedesign » Sun 29. Sep 2019, 23:32

Hi there, I have a Cintiq 24HD Touch which just stopped working. It's functioning as a monitor, but the pen is not responding. I was tilting it forward on its stand yesterday and heard my PC chime, telling me that something has been disconnected. When I went to draw, nothing happened. I've also tried connecting it to my Mac with no success. I also tried disconnecting the Displayport cable and using a different one (Displayport to Mini Displayport), but it wanted to use the video signal from that port, and not give the pen data.

I assume there's an issue with the Displayport to USB cable that's running through the stand. The good thing is that it's detachable.

Is there a replacement for this? I can't see any similar cables for sale, as I don't think it's a standard configuration. I do see some Displayport to USB-C cables - if I got one of those, would it work? Does anyone know if Wacom has a replacement cable for sale, and if so, is that something I could re-route through the stand? If I can't open the stand, I could just bypass it and have the cable hang off the back of the Cintiq. Thanks very much!

The DTH-2400 has different cables.
The pen data is handled over the USB cable in the stand. This is a very long USB-A to USB-B cable.
See Stand Setup and Usage - Part 2 in http://101.wacom.com/UserHelp/en/TOC/DTH-2400.html
