With every new OS, new issues.

Postby RobArt » Mon 18. Nov 2019, 08:21

Hi

I knew when I upgraded to Catalina there were going to be issues. But they keep mounting up and no obvious resolves for any.

1) Already mentioned the video glitching when using Photoshop, which only happens on the Cintiq and not the main iMac screen.
2) There seems to be a very heavy lag in colour picking in Photoshop using the Cintiq, so much so that when I click a colour to sample and go to draw a streak line appears over the artwork. If I forget to see it, then I have to go back and waste time touching up the affected areas.

3) Today's issue, is I started up the Cintiq. Everything fine, then I moved the pen over, and it was being recognised by the iMac screen not the Cintiq. I went to do a recalibration, which seems to fix this issue, and the calibration screen appeared on the iMac Screen and not the Cintiq. So pretty impossible to recalibrate.

Any solutions that can fix any of these issues, would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Rob

Welcome Rob,

The first two issue don't seem Wacom related. Seems that you might have performance issues so I would recommend you to check this article https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html and contact Adobe.

For the third issue, which display do you have set as your main? On the Calibration menu, did you select the correct monitor from the drop down menu? https://www.wacom.com/en-de/support?guideId=003-364
