Cintiq Pro 24 - Generic SuperSpeed USB HUB has Error

Postby Somsai » Sun 8. Dec 2019, 22:28

As the title mentions.
Also, does the Cintiq have audio? I noticed it is listed as an audio output device, but I get no audio. I'm tried HDMI and DP. Did I get a defective Cintiq?

All of my PC and Wacom drivers are up to date.

I'm not sure when this started, but I would say it began half a year ago.

I tried a few things such as,

1. Troubleshoot
2. Device Manager>Generic SuperSpeed USB Hub>Uninstall>Restart PC

Now, it my Cintiq still works fine. I can still draw and what not, but my god this bothers me so much lol. Makes me feel like I'm working with something that is broken.

It doesn't have speakers but it has a audio jack. When connected to a computer the Cintiq Pro display will show as playback device in the Operating System. I you have other audio devices connected, you will need to change the settings.

As for the issue in the title, did you try this: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/win ... 7f6aea47c6

I had the exact same error and also the card reader would not work properly on the wacom. I realized I had connected the USB cable from the wacom to a special USB port on the computer that is meant to be used to update the bios on the motherboard.

Once I used another USB port on my computer the problem was solved.
