Cintiq 27QHD Cannot connect to MacBook Pro 16

Postby opticblue » Wed 1. Jan 2020, 23:32

I have a Cintiq QHD27 which was connected to a 2012 IMac via a mini display port and usb connection, and it worked no problem. I have since upgraded to a new MacBook Pro 16 inch and can connect it to work as a monitor via a Startech USB-C DisplayPort adaptor and a standard usb to usb-c dock unit, but does not recognise the tablet and the pen does not work. In system preferences it says A supported tablet was not found on the system. I have the latest driver installed, can anyone please advise what adaptors can make this work it is most frustrating. Many thanks in advance if anyone can help

I have a cintiq27 and a MBP16

everything works OK (except color manager, I would like to know how it goes by you ...)
I notice that the hub USB-C must be a 100W hub. with my first one, 85W, everything was unstable in connection.
with the new one, no more problem with hdmi (no DisplayPort on my hub)
