Cintiq 16 "no input signal" on MacBook Pro early 2011

Postby wesyhysy » Thu 30. Jan 2020, 19:13

Hi there!

I am new to the forum. I bought Cintiq 16 and connected it to MacBook Pro 13" early 2011 2,3GHz i5 4BG. Updated OS to High Sierra 10.13.6 according to requirement. I used Lenovo mini display to HDMI adapter, since there is no HDMI port. It worked fine first day, but next time I started it up "no input signal" show up. I bought another adapter iiglo and same here. Worked fine during first start up, but not the next time I started it. I checked Cintiq on another MacBook Pro with HDMI port and all works fine.

What could be the problem? I know such adapters can cause issues, but why they would work well on begning and fail rhe next day?

Anyone?

Sounds like the problem is with your Mac. Unplug the video cable, reboot the Mac and plug the video cable again. If the issue persists

Hey did you get this issue resolved? Mine just started doing the same exact thing. Worked for 3 days now the display doesn't get signal from my iMac 2013ish.
