I'm having this weird thing happen whiles using my tablet (isn't software related, it happens in desktop, in Photoshop, CSP, etc.).
Every once in a while, I can't really tell why, my cursor freezes and I have to lift the pen off the display and back so it'll work again.
Anyone else has this problem? Any known solutions?
Could not find anything in search and google only returned me generic lag fixes.

First we need to know your operating system...
Did you check https://www.wacom.com/en-gb/support for possible issues?

Re: Cintiq 16 - Weird Pen behaviour
I read through and tried some general lag fixes I found in FAQs and around the web.
Also tried reinstalling drivers, turning off windows ink, turning off hold to right click, flicks, etc.
I'm running a Windows 10, a GTX 1070,i7 6700K, 16gb RAM, primarily using Photoshop but the problem is not contained to it.

Uping this. I'm still having the problem after troubleshooting literally everything I found on Wacoms support page, forums, reddit, etc.
Cursor freezing every 60 seconds or so. Not photoshop related. Totally destroying my workflow.

Yeah i also have same model and im experiencing same problems, i bet this is related to windows update. Because reverted to three drivers back when i had no problem at all, and the problem still there.
I had a quadro video card no an rtx, so you can discard the videocard been the problem, here.

At least it's not a defective screen display then. Still waiting on an official response though. There's gotta be more people with the same problem.
Re: Cintiq 16 - Weird Pen behaviour
This is actually no known issue for us.
We have seen this in the very past when Windows Ink has been introduced (I think this was Windows 7). This was one of the reasons to allow deactivation of Windows Ink the driver.
When this happens - do you see anything in the task manager? High CPU or RAM load?
When you open the diagnose of the driver (https://www.wacom.com/en-gb/support?guideId=001-668) - what does it show when this happens?

Re: Cintiq 16 - Weird Pen behaviour
I tested and was able to reproduce it during the diagnose. Nothing special happens, it's only as if I was not touching the display with the pen while the cursor stays in place. As soon as I lift the pen off and get it back to the table, it works normalyy and start showing the coordinates, tilt, etc. again. It also says "all switches are open".
Also, just managed to reproduce it again with Task Manager opened, and nothing special there also. There's no spike in CPU, RAM, Video, Hard Disk or Power usage, just the same thing, "All switches open" and it unfreezes as soon as I lift the pen off and back in.
I should note windows is updated (it actually did an update this morning) and drivers have been reinstalled twice by now and the product is brand new (out of the box for 5 or 6 days now).
