I've recently purchased refurbished Cintiq Pro 16, which (despite being refurb) is looking mint.
I am overall happy with the display quality and performance, using Link Plus and HDMI/USB combo, running @ 1440p / 60Hz.

I've read about the problematic fan noise all over the place but can't see much information about the high-pitched character of it.
I personally don't mind the level of the fan noise but the -coil whine like- frequency of it is quite annoying, not much audible but persistent.
It's definitely coming from the fan spinning as it always starts whenever the fan hits the higher performance, which is basically 1-2 minutes after the screen is on.
I wonder whether this is something other people have experienced too and managed to solve by replacing the device, or it's just the quality of the component and would most likely be audible on other device too. Any ideas please?

Updating with the video.
Another thing are kind of horizontal ghost lines appearing in the lower third of the screen whenever the pen is close to or touching the screen.
I've been using Cintiq 12WX for over a decade and that thing is still going, this model sadly doesn't look like it's gonna survive half of that time.

The Fan noise is relative. Hard to judge from a video. Best would be to contact support and have the unit checked at the nearest repair center.

As for the lines, this is a result of the EMR technology. For this line of devices we used a different bonding method to reduce parallax but this was a smaller side effect. Should not affect the device's behavior.

Thanks, I've contacted the support via online form, awaiting the response. The actual noise volume of spinning fan isn't a problem, just the high frequency whine of it is. It's audible on both videos, I am aware that not everyone is sensitive to higher frequencies and can actually hear them.
On the laptop this would be related to rundown component, some people solve stuff like that with the drop of a household oil. I am NOT going to try that though :)
