Cintiq 16 pro works only as a display or tablet

Postby paskaalahkeessa » Tue 28. Apr 2020, 18:17

Hello all

I recently bought Cintiq 16 pro for Win 7 PC and it only works as a 2nd monitor or a tablet but not as a display tablet which is pretty frustrating. I have tested it every possible way and nothing makes display and tablet work at same time. If I connect with USB C from Cintiq to PC it works as a table. When I connect with Wacom Link and HDMI it works as a 2nd monitor.

The most most frustrating thing is that I was able to make it work on my gf's Lenovo laptop with Wacom Link and my gf's laptop is very standard for cat videos and lulz. If it helps I have dual monitor setup but I took 2nd monitor off when I was trying to make Cintiq work with me.

And on top of all of this my Wacom Desktop Center stopped working some time ago, it crashes pretty much instantly when I open it. I've tried to update drives to new and old and nothing seems to work.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Please check with our support for a proper diagnose. Seems that you have a driver issue but I can't be sure.
