Colors and contrast are off on cintiq 16

Hi!

First sorry for my english, it's not my first language.

I was always working on a small pen tablets (bamboo, intuos) for 9 years and i recently bought a cintiq 16.

I'm having a hard time getting to know it, mostly because the drawings look very different the moment i export them and i see them on my real screen (macbook mid 2015). The difference between the wacom screen and my own screen is so huge, Because the contrast on the cintiq 16 is a lot lower. When i draw something on the cintiq 16, it looks very smooth and well blended. The moment I see it on my own screen, i see al the mistakes that are made, it turns out not to be smooth, a lot of lines turned out way harder than I wanted etc.

I already tried to change the display colors/brightness/contrast. But it doesn't seem to work. It seems like the cintiq just can't give a certain contrast what my screen does.

Are more people affected by this? What kind of screen settings seemed to work for you, or will I rather have to reach for a cintiq pro to have a bit of the same screen contrast / depth?

Hi,
The display panel on your Macbook and on the Cintiq 16 are entirely different so you will not be able to have the same 1:1 image on both displays.

If you need better a display that is closer to the Mac specifications, then I would recommend the Cintiq Pro 16.
