Colour hue shift on Cintiq Pro 24 when pen is active

Postby lz2q3w » Fri 5. Mar 2021, 02:24

Hello,
Just wondering if anyone is having the issue in Photoshop CC21 when drawing on an image there is a slight colour hue change to the screen when the pen is active on the tablet. I am using a 27" iMac running Big Sur with a 31" Enzo 318 4k and a 24 Pro tablet. I don't think it is a hardware problem with the tablet but was wondering if it had to do with Wacom drivers and Big Sur, or a colour depth issue with the OS monitor drivers. Is anyone else seeing this or is it just me?
Thanks

I'm running Big Sur and this same thing happens to me with my 27QHD. It seems to happen randomly, and restarting my computer is the only thing that seems to fix it -- for a time, at least. Pretty unnerving. e___e

Thanks for the reply. It also occurs when using the mouse. Hopefully the next Big Sur update fixes it. Also I’ve noticed the Photoshop CC21 crashes a lot in Big Sur. Sometimes when not doing anything intensive either. Pretty disappointing considering how stable it used to be.

Is the HUE shift happening only in part of the screen or through the whole Cintiq Pro? Does this also happen with the other non-Wacom monitor? Since this also happens with the mouse it cannot be related with the Wacom driver. Does it happen with other software besides Photoshop?
