Multi Select disabled on Yosemite with Cintiq Driver

Postby BenjaminMarkus » Wed 21. Dec 2016, 23:39

I just reformatted my 2013 MacPro and rolled back to Yosemite because a lot of the software I run isn't officially supported by Sierra and the El Capitan Disk Utility is an abomination without RAID support. However, when I installed the latest driver that I use to run my 22HD Cintiq and Intuos4 tablet, I realized that I'm no longer able to shift select or command select files. I'm convinced this is related to the Wacom driver because this doesn't happen with a normal ball mouse or with the Intuos Wacom mouse or Pen when the driver isn't installed. Has anyone else had this issue? It's extremely annoying.

Did you try the new 6.3.19-10 driver released over the weekend ? A number of keystroke/modifier issues were fixed with this driver.

I just tried the 19-10 driver this AM and it DID fix the sticky keys issue for me, however for me all the drivers that have the key issues fixed cause pretty bad jagged lines when drawing at medium pressure from top right to bottom left. This happens in at least Photoshop and Mischeif, my two main programs, and I assume it does in others as well but have not tested. I had deleted my prefs and started with vanilla ones, as I always do to rule out any possibility there (I don't do anything complex in my Wacom control panel).

So for me sticky keys < jagged lines so I rolled back to 18-4. If there's anything I can do to help, i.e. dumping my machine configs, beta testing, or walking through my issue in detail, please don't hesitate to let me know, I'll be happy to help.

So far as I can recall my issues started with MACOS update 10.12.2, so that might be a good place to start hunting for differences in the os api calls. I seem to remember Wacom saying they had to work around an issue when (I think it was) El Capitan came out, so maybe Apple's finally fixed it?

Anyway I'm rambling now, but would be happy to be of any assistance!
