Windows 10 Fall 2018 Update:
Updating to the newest Windows 10 Fall update? Wacom has identified a few issues within the latest update. Pan/Scroll is not working correctly in some applications. Also, Modifier Clicks do not work when assigned to pen buttons or ExpressKeys, see the screenshot below. The Wacom driver team has submitted a bug report with Microsoft for these issues and will continue to work with them until it is fixed. More information can be found here: here

Thanks for clarifying this. I submitted a bug report to apple, not sure if it will help. What a shame.

Hello again

I am able to fix the nightshift problem via terminal, by using this shell utility:

https://github.com/jenghis/nshift

..and running the following commands:

/Users/myusername/nshift 10
/Users/myusername/nshift 0

I packaged the above commands into an executable batchscript, using instructions here:

Then I added the batchscript to my 'login items' and put a link to it in my dock.

This means the nightshift problem is fixed when first booting the computer, and when the displays wake from sleep (causing the nightshift problem to return) I can fix it by just running the batchscript from finder/dock, which is a lot faster than going into System Preferences>Display>Nightshift every time.

Sharing this here as a temporary solution, pending a bug fix from Apple :)

So this will effect all Sierra? I noticed this on my macbook air that had sierra. everything was pinkish and no calibration or profile made it go away. I tried it on my other mac which is el elcapitan and the colors are perfect. It only exists with Sierra. I can downgrade my mac air to el capitan which will fix it for now but the problem is my air doesnt support 4k. I had intended in getting an 2017 macbook pro to get 4k but I will have the pink problem because its running Sierra.

Just to be clear - "turning nightshift off and leaving if off" is not sufficient to stop this problem. You need to turn nightshift on then off *every* time the screen is used. The solution I posted previously has been the best workaround for me so far, but I am still hopeful for a less "hacky" solution.
