HELP: Cintiq 24HD recognized as "Generic PnP screen"

Postby SpyxedDemon » Fri 28. Apr 2017, 14:49

Hey everyone. Today I decided to work on one of my projects just as normal.

I plug my Cintiq into the adapters (Just like I always do) and suddenly the screen acts weird. (Picture of when I go into screen resolution: https://gyazo.com/bf55323b129eb4dd6069dc29c3305328) as you can see, the resolution is entirely wrong as well...can't set it higher.
I really didn't do anything off or odd. Didn't update any drivers before this, nothing. It's very suddenly out of nowhere.

The things I've done to try fix it:
-Restarted entire PC and removed power supply of Cintiq
-Update the monitor by going into Device manager (no update found)
-Update monitor via screen resolution (no update found)

(I run Windows 7 with a NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti)
for some reason my PC does not recognize the Cintiq as .. a Cintiq.
I'm really frustrated because this happened so suddenly, and I'm in a bit of a deadline too. :( Please, anyone who can help me, would be great.
