Cannot get Cintiq driver working

Postby Evee2010 » Sun 25. Dec 2016, 00:36

I recently purchased a Cintiq 13HD and for the life of me, I cannot get the driver to work. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling multiple times, I've updated all software on my computer (running Windows 8.1) and I've also uninstalled the driver from my previous tablet (a Wacom One.) The display works when I plug in the Cintiq so all I've got so far is a glorified second monitor. I feel like an idiot because I can't get this to work. Any ideas?

Do you get an error message when installing ? Only 'no supported tablet not found' when opening the control panel ? - Assuming you are using Windows. In this case try the following: unplug the tablet, uninstall the driver, restart Windows. Open device manager and look for any remaining Wacom entry. If there is an 'HID Compliant mouse' in the mice section, check the properties adn if refering to Wacom remove that entry as well. Then attach the tablet again. Windows may start an automatic search for drivers on the web that can take quite some time, you may want to skip this search.
Next disable virus protection temporarily and install the driver (we have seen cases where the antivirus soft interferes). If still not working, use the tablet utility to remove the tablet settings. Check that a folder \Program Files\Tablet has been created on drive c:, you may want to have a look in the install.log file there, if there is still a problem and contact our support to find out, what is going on.

Did you ever get anywhere with this? I have exactly the same issue with a 22HD - win 7 64 bit. Only works with a driver 5 revisions back (6.3.15). Annoying.
