Cintiq Pro 16

Postby Tacocat » Sat 29. Jul 2017, 15:04

i recently got my Cintiq Pro 16 and i have 2 major problems. First thing i noticed is a weird distortion when i put the pen on the display. Its most notivable on the lower half of the display. It seems like lot of people have this problem with the Pro 16 so i guess there is no way to fix this? If someone got a solution i would be very thankful.

But the biggest problem i have with this product is the huge amount of parallax once the curser leaves the middle screenspace. It gets up to around ~0,7 cm on the outer sides and edges. Even heavier on the left side. I already calibrated the device more then 10 times, it wont get better. I actually have no clue if this is just normal or if my unit is broken. The lack of parallax was one of the main reasons i got this device, so i am pretty disappointed actually.

Does it have something to do with the fact, that i am actually using a displayport cable that can only output 2k? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think this is a case for
The deviation of pen vs cursor can be caused by using the Cintiq in mirrored mode when the mapping between screen size and useable pen size is "off".
