How can I prevent the wacom desktop center from opening a window and flashing in my taskbar every time I startup.
Once the custom hotkeys are configured, I don't need it at all and it's actually very annoying.

wacom desktop center
Re: wacom desktop center
When you have the Wacom Desktop Center open, go to the File menu in the top left and disable 'start automatically'. Then it should not be started automatically anymore (if it still comes up, use the 6.3.15 driver, some drivers had the option, but it had no effect.)

Re: wacom desktop center
I use the latest driver and I disabled 'start automatically' also it is not listed in the login items.
Still pops up with every startup, on Sierra and High Sierra and it is still a bit annoying...

Re: wacom desktop center
Wacom, I'm sure you are dedicated to helping your customers be creative vs. dealing with technical issues and administrative tasks, correct? Isn't that the main commitment of Wacom? To help us express ourselves and free us from creative blocks?
How come this issue is unresolved then, as it seems to affect many people? I've had my tablet for months and was advised to return it to Wacom by a tech representative after doing multiple tests- and in the middle of the RMA a USA tech person intervened and admitted that it was the driver. That was MONTHS AGO.
When is the fix due? Mine launches despite "Start Automatically" being checked off- and in my case it launches the Wizard as well.

Re: wacom desktop center
WACOM- same issue, and in my case a technician asked me to send my tablet in to get a replacement! :) :) Obviously it's a software issue and shortly after a USA technician intervened and said the new software update would fix it.
Not so. For MONTHS NOW, Wacom Desktop AND the set-up Wizard both auto-launch no matter what I do.
Wacom, I know you're committed to the creativity of your customers- and to free us from creative obstacles. Well, this is a pretty annoying one- what's the update?

Re: wacom desktop center
The problem is, that we cannot fix issues, that don't happen on our machines ... In such a situation Wacom support should get more information about your configuration. Perhaps it depends things like language or other installed software, that we don't have on our testmachines.
Regarding the Wacom Desktop Center autostarting even though 'autostart' is disabled, I suggest to Go To -> applications -> Wacom and rename the 'Wacom Desktop Center' app to something else, for example to 'WacomDesktopCenter'. Then you can still start it manually, but it cannot start automatically.

Re: wacom desktop center
Same issue as the other posters, it has been happening on mac sierra and high sierra, on my MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017). Just renamed (to a more apt) "AnnoyingWacom Desktop Center.app".
Re: wacom desktop center
You can uninstall the pointless "desktop centre" app - just delete it. It does little else but open the wacom interface from System Preferences...
