scrolling problems with firefox

Postby abernasco » Fri 30. Mar 2018, 07:21

hi there,
I have an intuos pro, windows 10 64, both updated. browsing long pages with firefox when I start to scroll after few touhches it goes suddently at the end of the page or somewhere else, and sometimes makes consulting a web page impossible. the same page works fine with both chrome or explorer.
I already uninstalled and reinstall the driver
thanks

Check your Firefox scrolling settings and change the setting for 'smooth scrolling'.

What method do you use for scrolling ? 2 finger touch ? Pen 'scroll' button ? Pen moving on the scrollbar ? Pen scroll button uses the distance between pentip and screen pointer for controlling the scrolling speed.

In this case I would check the settings in the mouse/touchpad control panel, adjust the pointer speed. If you mouse allows reduce pointer acceleration. If the problem affects only firefox, start firefox, enter 'about:config', in searchbar type 'mousewheel.min_line_scroll_amount', then adjust the speed setting there, lower values reduce scrolling speed. - Another option - if problem is only touchscrolling: go to C:\Program Files\Tablet\Wacom\AppGestures.xml, backup the file, then edit it (search for Firefox scroll setting 'ScrollUp' and modify the setting for amount and amountmultiplier). After any changes you need to restart Windows to test the result.
