Portrait mode. It works! Why not fully support it?

Postby DearCustomer » Wed 1. Nov 2017, 14:48

Hi to Wacom and all its customers,

THere is no support in the GUI of Wacom drivers to enable users to rotate their tablet 90 degrees, to use it in portrait mode.

But it turns out it is dead easy to configure it...

https://yal.cc/wacom-one-portrait-orientation/

Follow this guide. You simply export your wacom prefs., open the file in an text editor e.g. Sublime. Search for "<Orientation" and you should find two lines with <Orientation type="integer">1</Orientation> or so. I changed the value to 0 and now I have a working Intuos medium tablet paired with my 24" 16:10 monitor i portait mode.....

By the way thanks for not telling me, I think I have contacted you with this request on an earlier occasion. [I checked, yes I posted a question about this on this forum in February.] I have spent months using my tablet in the wrong orientation.
What a shame for your company that you fail to support this capability in your driver GUI and fail to market this in any way.
