Wacom Intuos Pro - Sliders still sticky in Photoshop

Postby daciang » Sun 5. Nov 2017, 14:59

Under OSX High Sierra, latest photoshop and latest Wacom drivers.
I have another two recent, unanswered questions on this forum.

Wacom fails to fix the same issues that have been plaguing its products for years. Plus they have new surprises with every new Photoshop or OS version.
I guess with the new ipads with pencils we won't have problems for too much longer...

Wacom dont care. Their drivers are a joke. The sooner an alternative comes along the better.

The tablet driver gets data from tablet hardware and makes that available to all applications in a consistent manner. It is the task of the applications to use this information correctly and in the same way in all versions of the program. The driver should not have to adapt to updated application software. - We are aware of a problem with sliders in Adobe Premiere - that is a bug in Premiere and needs to be fixed by Adobe. (The tablet driver just moves the screen pointer and doesn't know the current object under the pointer and how that object reacts is the job of the application, not the tablet driver.)
