Hurricane Florence Alert:
A rather large hurricane is set to hit the East Coast of the United States at the end of this week. Because of its size and threat to life & property there have already been significant evacuations in the areas expected to be hit worst. Hopefully things do not turn out as bad, but we will probably see shipping delays to and from that area (our North America distribution center is in Memphis, TN, close to the area).
If you are in the US region and you order something during this period, please see check https://www.ups.com/us/en/service-alerts.page?id=alert1 for possible alerts.

Wacom driver doesn't recognise PS under macOS High Sierra

Postby henrikmjoberg » Sat 11. Nov 2017, 18:01

Hi,

the Wacom driver doesn't recognise specific functions for tablet hotkeys, touch ring or grip pen settings specified for Adobe Ps. This works as expected for other application specific settings per application including other Adobe software. I need to modify the standard setting of touch ring keystrokes or for example grip pen settings to get brush size adjustment and the pen pressure i want running Ps.

macOS 10.13.1
Wacom Intous Pro PTH-651, driver 6.3.25-2 using cable connection
Adobe Photoshop CC 2018

A guess could be that the driver doesn't recognise the Ps application correctly and therefor gives me the standard settings. I have of course cleared previous Wacom driver installed including user settings.

Okay, so I got all hotkeys, pen pressure etc. working again with program specific settings thanks to rolling back Wacom driver to 6.3.23-4.

I guess we've had our fair share of habit in rolling back Wacom drivers. And for the record 6.3.23-4 works well running macOS 10.13.1 including Adobe CC package even though Wacom says not.

Good luck folks!
