Corel Painter 5 not recognising Wacom pen

Postby wacawaca » Wed 15. Nov 2017, 03:10

Hi,

Not sure whether I am doing something wrong but when I select a pen e.g. calligraphy or marker, I can't seem to use my Wacom pen to draw with it. However, using my mouse to draw works with these pens. Opacity is 100%. grain is 100%, colour is anything other than white so I am not sure what the problem is.

I can use my pen to select things so I am not sure what is wrong...it completely defeats the purpose if I can't use the pen to draw...

Any help is appreciated!

What is your operating system, tablet model and driver version ? You refer to Painter Essentials 5 ? Some brushes are designed to work with specific Wacom pens and features (like Artpen/Artmarker pen rotation or tilt).
