Intuos Pen & Touch Medium Silver - Random spasms when drawing

Postby kenny6d02 » Fri 8. Dec 2017, 16:37

Hi all,
I've had this tablet for about 2yrs or so and up until recently, its been behaving quite well.
When trying to do any sort of sketching In programs such as Photoshop, clip studio SAI etc the brush moves around randomly ruining whatever it is you were drawing. Sometimes the issue is very minute, only appearing every hour or so but as of late its been quite a few times per minute.

Things I've tried:
- New USB cable and Port
- Trying a different Pen
- Re-installing drivers

Here's a YouTube video showing what I'm experiencing:

Really hope I don't have a defective tablet and need to purchase a replacement.
Thanks in advance & hopefully someone can help!

If you tablet has touch, turn touch off and test without it, that could cause irregular movements. And attach the tablet to another USB port (direct connections prefered, not through a hub).

Hi thanks for responding, the touch slider is off and it's only in pen mode. I've tried several direct ports in the back and front of my PC and the issue still persists. The pen glitch happens at random intervals from maybe 5 times a minute to only 2 in a hour, really disrupts my workflow, any ideas what else it could be?

Thanks again in advance.
