Hello,
Wacom Cintiq Pro 16" on a Macbook Pro with High Sierra OS
This is a serious issue - I downloaded the latest firmware updates for the video and the pen today, and I got an error message during the video firmware update that said it failed. The tablet then turned off, and I cannot get it to turn back on. The device is still apparently registering as connected to my MacBook, and when I move the pen on the dead tablet, the cursor moves with it on my Mac screen.
I have been doing some searching, and it would seem that this firmware update has caused similar issues with other users.
Is there anything else I can do besides re-installing the drivers (which I have done), and rebooting my computer etc? I am going to be speaking with support tomorrow - I guess worst case scenario is that I need a replacement?
This is a bit ridiculous, as I've only had the cintiq for about two weeks..
