On screen controls not user friendly( submenus)

Postby AFWS88 » Thu 28. Dec 2017, 13:47

OK, new to drawing tablets, so will be asking a bunch of question prolly. After watching several videos I find the “ on screen controls” not very user friendly. I’m trying to create a “submenu” and the only way I see to do it is, create like “GIMP Menu” and then for my submenu “ GIMP Layers”, then open the gimp layers with the gimp menu. I seen when it was called “radial menus” you could create your main menu then have like “ layers” for your submenu and it would then branch layers off of your main menu. Now, you have to add the name of the program to keep up with your “submenus”.

I found a work around, still not user friendly. For my main menu I do something like GIMP-GP, then for submenus I do something like Layer-GP, Tools-GP, etc. This lets me know it’s a submenu to my main menu.
