Windows 10 update (W 10 home/1709) messed up Wacom Intuos Pro L

Postby kogepan » Tue 2. Jan 2018, 08:29

Hi there!

I'm hoping someone could help me solve this issue. I've noticed that often when Windows 10 installs a big update, afterwards my Wacom Intuos Pro L does not work properly. Usually I've managed to solve it by installing new Wacom drivers, but this time nothing I do is helping. Below are some of the problems:

- Wacom doesn't work well with Firefox, 75% of the time I can't click on tabs and text selection is awkward (hover does not work well)
- I can't use right mouse click in Photoshop (completely ruins my workflow)

My current version of Windows 10 is Windows Home 1709.

Thanks!

The Windows Fall creators update has changed, how Windows Ink applications should behave. To avoid the issues we recommend to turn off 'use Windows Ink' in the tablet driver (and use other methods for pressure sensitivity, if needed).

Didn't work...
I am having issues as well.
When i click and drag, it keeps pressed even with pen not pressed anymore. This is making impossible to work at Lightroom, Photoshop, and even using as replacing mouse!
Already did everything, including roll back to older versions of driver.

If you have these problems with Windows Ink Off, it sounds like a problem with the pen. I would check pen pressure in the driver diagnostis (control panel -> About) and try to adjust pen tip feel settings.

Hi I have a similar problem happening since the last windows update, on a cintiq 27. The right click is not able to hold in my case (so even if I hold it treats it as a right click only), very problematic for some photoshop functions. The problem does not happen with the mouse. Tried all possible alterations to windows pen/ inc setting ect.. sometimes it holds but for less than a second. Big productivity issue, would be good to see it fixed.
