Problems with Wacom Intuos Pro pen eraser in Photoshop 2017

Postby SofJae » Fri 5. Jan 2018, 18:29

Hi everyone,

For the past four years I think I have been using an Intuos Pro on a Windows 8 laptop with Photoshop CC 2013 (the laptop refused to upgrade any higher). About a month ago I got a new laptop that runs windows 10, and I'm now running the latest version of Photoshop.

Before, when I turned the pen around to erase something, Photoshop automatically switched the tool on the screen to eraser, meaning I could resize it using the touch ring or change the brush type without have to manually switch to it on screen, then would flip back to brush when I used the pen side.

However now, although it does erase, if I try and resize the eraser, it configures the brush tool, not the eraser. Does anyone have any idea why this might be?
