Pen pressure in Intuos Art M

Postby TelmoQuadros » Wed 24. Jan 2018, 14:48

Hi

I bought na Intuos Art, and I think I have a problema with pressure pen,as the thicness of the line is always the same. I went to the dialogue box, and the "pressure field" is always empty, it only moves when i put pressure on. Don't know what this means, but when I draw, I cannot change - during the drawing process - the thickness of the line. This is very importante for me, as I'm really used to freehand drawing.

Thanks for any help!

When you see pressure reaction in the tablet control panel, the hardware is ok. To see pressure while drawing depends on the application (and os) you are using). You need to use a program supporting pressure, and you may have to configure the settings in this program. Which operating system and application are you using ?

F.e. using Photoshop CC requires that 'use Windows Ink' is active (when using Windows), that 'shape dynamics is activated, that a brush/pen/tool is selected that uses pressure. If you want that see pressure chinging the brush size, the settings for this brush must be configured that Photoshop applies pressure to the brushsize parameter - otherwise pressure may affect opacity or color instead of the size.
