Problems mapping with new intuos pro medium

Postby RosieRoses » Mon 5. Mar 2018, 10:19

I have a new Intuos pro medium which I am using with a PC. I want to map the tablet to half the screen, with the tablet in portrait. Whenever I map it to the area I want, it just jumps back to the middle after I click ok. I have tried lots of different sized boxes, It seems like there is no way to have a box all the way to the right hand side of the screen.

I have a screen shot, but I can't work out how to attach a picture on this board.

Any help really appreciated!

I tested that here (with another tablet) and see similar problems when trying to use 'portion of display' mapping, when using the latest drivers. I would try the older 6.3.25-5 driver for the moment.

Ok. Thanks. Is there a way to flag this up as an issue so that it can be fixed in the next update?

The problem was confirmed and examined by the driver team. It is related to Windows DPI/Zoom level setting. You may use the following workaround until this is fixed:

1. Change the Windows DPI scaling level to 100% and then sign out of the current user.
2. Sign in to the user account, then make the portion mapping change in the control panel.
3. Change the Windows DPI scaling level back to the desired amount and sign out again.
4. Sign in again and the mapping should be correct.
Note: Preview of the mapping in the control panel will appear to be incorrect, with the handles going far off the drawn screen, but this is fine. Mapping should work as assigned when at 100%.
