Intuos 4 randomly right-clicking

Postby AntonyM » Sun 28. Oct 2018, 14:20

I have started having a problem with my table and pen.

When I am trying to use it, every few seconds it seems to do a right-click without me clicking either of the buttons.

I have updated the driver.
I have turned off "Enable press and hold for right-clicking".
I have turned off Windows Ink.
Any suggestions?

Is there any way to work out if it is a physical fault with the tablet, or a driver issue?

Thanks,
Antony

First, backup and reset the preferences and see if the issue still occurs. If the issue still happens, disable the pen button assign to right click by default - if this resolves the issue then there might be something with your pen button. You should have the pen replaced in this case.

If the issue is not resolved by now, then there is nothing wrong with the driver or the tablet. Something else in your computer is causing the random right-clicks.

Yes, that fixed it.

So there must be a fault with the pen button.

Time for a new pen, I guess.
