Problems with standard gestures / touch action / WDC Autostart

Postby Whitesnake » Sun 28. Oct 2018, 16:47

Hello, I have no idea how I can fix my problems, maybe somebody knows a solution:

I have a 2015 MBP, MacOS 10.14, a Wacom Intuos Pro S (v 6.3.31-4). I have followed the instruction page for Mojave, so everything is setup correct.

This problems occur:

.) None of the standard gestures work (my gestures work). Therefore I can not zoom in and out of a picture.
.) When I try to trigger a action in Affinity Photo, I have to use my mouse (left click), because the Wacom pen won't do a click (it looks like it would like to click and drag instead of just clicking)
.) Everytime I start the Mac, Wacom Desktop Center autostarts. How can I prevent WDC from autostarting?

Thanks for your help.

1. Make sure you have enable the touch permissions - https://www.wacom.com/en-de/support?guideTitle=Why-is-touch-not-working-on-Mac-OS-10.14%3F&guideId=3854ea4d-fa27-49c1-99d3-906e68d9046a
2. Does this only happen with this software? Try resetting your preferences and adjusting the double click distance.
3. Open WDC > Click on "More" in the upper left > Disable Autostart.

Hey wacom5,

thx for your fast answer:

1) It was checked and didn't worked. After unchecking an rechecking it, everything was fine. Is it possible that this support page is changed with this details, because that did the trick (as least for me).
2) It only affects affinity photo, in Safari and other programs everything behaves normal. When I switch the Wacom to mouse mode, the response is better (but not perfect).
3). Thx :)
