Intuos Pro setup wizard issue on windows 7

I just bought a Intuos Pro yesterday and can't install it on my computer (a windows 7 PC) because the setup wizard is simply not loading up. The tablet is connected properly, the drivers have been installed, the computer has been restarted (several times), but the setup wizard simply won't start to allow me to properly start the installation process. Furthermore, when I tried to register the product manually on the website, it didn't recognised the code as a valid one. What are my courses of actions? Have I bought a defective product?

You should't need to run the Setup Wizard to be able to use the device. If you installed the driver correctly that should be sufficient.
First make sure your Windows 7 is fully updated to the latest version possible.
Then, if you haven't already, download and install the latest driver from http://www.wacom.com/support/product-support/drivers.
Make sure the Intuos Pro is properly connected via USB.
