Intuos pen doesn't draw for the first second

Hello, i bought a Wacom Intuos Small over christmas, and i absolutely love it! Everything seemed to be working fine, but now i've noticed that theres a small gap between where i put my pen down and where my line starts to draw.

I've made a little thing to show what i mean, the top line is where i would put my pen down, and drawing a line down from there shows a gap where the pen seemingly doesn't register anything

I think i've done everything correctly with the drivers as it was very simple to do, this is just very annoying when im trying to do details or even just doodling something that i dont know where my line will start, any help?
