Wacom Intuos BT will not connect to Win 10 by Bluetooth

RE: Wacom Intuos BT will not connect to Win 10 by Bluetooth

This is so frustrating!
#SMH #EpicFail #WTF

My journey through Wacom Bluetooth Hell till now

1. Bought a Wacom Intuos BT (Bluetooth)

2. Installed and updated all drivers

3. When I try to connect the tablet via Bluetooth, Windows 10 asks for a Pin authentication. What? Apparently there is no magical seamless pairing without a Pin.

4. Why does Windows 10 ask for a Pin to connect the Intuous? There is no way to enter a Pin on the Wacom. Or is there? There is no easily found default Pin.

5. Wacom Support says "We do not support external USB Bluetooth. Your computer must have internal Bluetooth for pairing the tablet."

But nobody knows why? The USB Bluetooth supports every other device I own. Nobody can recommend a product or supported manufacturer?

Help!

That doesn't seem accurate. External adaptors should not be an issue as long as they are gen 2.1 or above. If you are using a version lower than 4.0 Windows might request a password. Please check the version of your adaptor.
First check if Windows is fully updated and that the Bluetooth driver controller is fully updated.
Then follow the exact steps listed here: https://www.wacom.com/en-de/support?guideTitle=Connecting-your-Wacom-Intuos-tablet-via-Bluetooth-for-Windows&guideId=ac1a73ef-41ea-442a-b02f-19463caab3ef.
If Windows still asks for a password, try "000000" or "123456" and press enter.

Did you check the version of your adaptor and the drivers? I would suggest you to try a different external adaptor.
