Intuos Pro pen loses connection

Hi there, I recently switched from an old Intuos 3 to an Intuos Pro L Paper. Still in the process of fine tuning. However, the pen tip sometimes stops responding/loses connection after a brief moment in idle. For now the solution is to use the eraser to make the pen responding again. The tablet is directly connected to my Mac Pro by usb. Any ideas? System: OS X 10.11.6 Wacom driver 6.3.32-4. TIA

Did all that but the problem still persists. Also, I can't wake the computer up from sleep using the pen, which I could with my old Wacom.

In that case, please contact our support. We might need to check your tablet - https://support.wacom.com
