[Software development] Wacom STU-SDK can't find USB-connected wacom CTL-671.

Postby BusterBie » Mon 11. Feb 2019, 12:33

Hello.
I downloaded the wacom STU-SDK from https://developer.wacom.com/en-us/devel ... /downloads here.
Along with the download comes a documentation pdf written in 2016.
The text gives an example of how to make a basic application that just gets raw input (x,y,pressure).
It starts of by getting the available devices, using the following code: https://imgur.com/a/OTgENX8
I've just uninstalled my current, and installed the latest drivers, but it simply won't find my wacom CTL-C671 even though it's obviously connected.
Since the pdf is written in 2016, but the file is from 2018, might the SDK have been updated, so at to know work differently?
Any help is appreciated.

Hi.
I'm not sure what you are working on but the STU SDK is for STU signature pads - http://signature.wacom.eu/products/signature-pad/
For the One by Wacom (CTL-671) you need to install the Wacom driver - https://www.wacom.com/en-de/support/product-support/drivers

If you want to create your own software to use our products with, please open an initial request with the developer support team.
  • Go to: https://developer.wacom.com
  • Login / Create an account
  • Once logged in, click on Resources
  • Access Developer Dashboard
  • On Developer Dashboard, check the Support section
  • Click on Initial Support Request.
  • Fill in the form
