Pen switches to pen mode from trackpad mode

Postby nowinhd » Sat 9. Mar 2019, 17:21

Hi, I have a One tablet and i was playing Overwatch with my drawing tablet (for some reason) but for some reason quite often during the game, my tablet switched from trackpad mode to pen mode (which doesnt work with overwatch). I have it set so that when i am using overwatch it uses trackpad mode, so it should work. Even though I have Overwatch selected, it still switches back to pen mode for some reason. Any idea why, and how to fix it?

Can you please confirm:
  • Operating system version
  • Tablet mode number (CTL-XXX)
  • Driver version
If I understand correctly, you set the tablet to mouse mode for Overwatch and the setting works for awhile until it's reversed? Do you notice it changing after Alt+Tabing or something else? When the issue happens and you try to open the driver, do you have any error messages?
From what you describe looks like something is causing the driver to crash and revert to default settings.
