Hi,
I'm using an Intuos Pro large connected via USB (wired) to an iMac 27" 2015 model (32GB mem) and 1TB m.2 SSD
Every point and click i do in every application makes the cursor freeze for a very short period around 0.5s
It interrupts the workflow because you click and you move your arm, but the cursor remains frozen in that spot, until it jumps to the new position my arm already moved to.
Even very low processing actions like, clicking in a word document freezes the cursor.
It's not impossible to work like this but it surely is annoying.
Please help me, because i'm new to all this.
Geert.

every pen click freezes cursor for 0.5 sec
Re: every pen click freezes cursor for 0.5 sec
Open the tablet preferences, select the pen and minimize the doubleclick distance setting. that should help. - Also check, if you have a program running for keyborad/mouse handling, which could interfere.

disabling the double click distance solved the problem... thank you !!!

This worked for me too! Thank you!
Re: every pen click freezes cursor for 0.5 sec
Actually, I thought it did, but it didn't.
I have a Wacom CTL-472 tablet (ONE by Wacom) running on macOS 10.4.6 Mojave and when trying to draw a dot in Photoshop, I get this weird delay (very small, but annoying). Is there something I can modify in the "com.wacom.wacomtablet.prefs" file? Or is there any solution to this delay?

Re: every pen click freezes cursor for 0.5 sec
This sounds more like some sort of performance issue with PS.

Re: every pen click freezes cursor for 0.5 sec
Well, how? When I draw lines or anything else (other than dots), there's no issue. So it can't be what you're saying.
I wonder if on other wacom tablet models drawing dots is done without this delay (it freezes for a very small amount of time).
