Intuos Pro vs Intuos Pro Paper?

Postby wokwokWOKWOKWOK » Fri 3. Feb 2017, 00:42

Does the Intuos Pro Paper Edition come with the exact specs and the same features as the Intuos Pro? Also, does the Wacom Intuos Pro Paper need a certain type of paper and or pen?

Which one would you recommend of the two?
Please respond as quickly as possible. :||)

(if this breaks the terms of service, sorry.)

The Intuos Pro Paper version is a bundle of the Intuos Pro plus a paper clip plus the Finetip Ink pen. - The tablet itself is exactly the same. If you buy the Intuos Pro, you can later buy the pen and paperclip separately - just the combined price is higher than the Intuos Pro Paper. You save money, when you purchase directly the Intuos Pro Paper version.

The Intuos Pro has the internal memory for digitized notes, but to activate that, you need to bring the Finetip Ink pen or the (not yet available) Ballpoint pen in tablet proximity. That activates the paper mode. The paperclip is a mechanical clip for holding paper - you could also attach paper in some other way, the paper clip is just a convenient method to hold paper without moving it.

You can use any paper or other material on the tablet, if it is non-metallic. The pen is detected through the paper. You need one of the Intuos Pro paper pens to activate the tablet paper mode. A normal ballpoint pen works on the paper, but is not detected in the tablet.

You can find more info on the product pages for the new Intuos Pro models. The Pro L (https://eu-store.wacom.com/Product/waco ... undefined1) includes the Pro Pen2 and the Finetip Gel Pro pen. Seems at the moment the pens and paperclip are not yet available separately. In the US Store the links exist, but products are not in stock:
