One by Wacom changed its way of moving the cursor

Postby herominina » Sun 16. Jun 2019, 22:02

Good morning,

recently my tablet started to act strange - instead of moving the cursor like a mouse it started moving the cursor according to the stylus' placement on the tablet.
Sorry if I didn't explain it right but I just don't really know how to explain it.

Thank you.

Hello,

The movement behaviour you describe, is the standard behaviour. We call it Absolute Positioning.
The tablet is not mean to behave like a mouse although this option is available through the driver settings. Most likely you didn't have the correct driver installed and that is why the tablet was only working as a mouse.

Did you re-install /update the driver recently?
Which operating system are you using?

To revert back to Mouse mode, check the Pen Settings in the Wacom Tablet Properties.

Yes and I am currently using Windows 10.
I tried looking through the Pen Settings but I couldn't find anything about the Mouse mode.

It's under the Mapping tab. Look for "Mode".
