S Pen makes drops like a dripping ink pen

Postby Tumbler » Thu 1. Aug 2019, 17:01

Hi,

a few months ago we bought a Wacom tablet, the new Intuos Pro XL (with the new Pro Pen 2) - Model: PTH-860.
All the time, all was fine. But since a week or so, the pen "drips". It sounds strange, but sometimes - randomizly - I set the pen on the surface of the tablet an get a thick "digital ink drop". That's crazy and makes me angry. Because it happens many dozen times a day!

Any idea what I can do?

Cheers
Tumbler

Hi,

I suppose you mean the Pro Pen 2 or are you using a different pen?
Can you clarify a bit better what is happening? Is the pen triggering strokes when not touching the surface?
I would recommend you to contact our support - https ://support.wacom.com

Pro Pen 2, yes. Sorry. ;)

No. If the pen touches the surface of the tablet, sometimes it makes big dots (like a damaged dripping ink pen). For example: I configured the pen in photoshop as brush with dot size 5. And then - sometimes - it happens, when the pen touches the surface it paints a big dot with size 20 (or so).

Have you tried disabling Windows Ink?

Uh ... thought, I disabled it months before. Hm ... I think the last wacom update reactivated it again. I will deactivate and test it again.

Thanks so far.
