My pen (Intuos CTL 490) ocasionally don't recognize the nib

Postby anglez » Sat 25. Jan 2020, 05:38

I have a Intuos CTL 490 and it started to present some troubles.
I've made all the software checks (such as drive update, windows update and so on) and it keeps showing this problem.

The pen occasionally don't recognize any presure I put. I've identified that it depends in the angle I put strenght in the pen. Most of the time, when it works, it works really slightly, even in the softier sensibility set.

I'm almost sure that the problem is inside the pen.

I'd like to know if you have a similar problem registred, what should I do and what could possibly had created this issue.
Also, I'd like to know if there's any way that I can open the pen, if there's any manual or tutorial that explain how the pen structure works (making it all in my responsability obviously).

Looking forward for an answer!
