Wacom Intuos BT: Delay before effective connection

I'm using the Wacom Intuos BT S in Bluetooth. When I'm pressing the power on button the tablet connects to my computer (I see the connected message on my screen) but I have to wait about 1 minute before the pen is actually working.

The Wacom Desktop center tells me that everything is up to date. My system is macOS Catalina 10.15.6.

What can I do ?

Yeah well, it's not a Bluetooth connexion issue since the tablet is actually connected to the computer (listed in the connected devices, connected message appearing when powering up the tablet). Besides, past that waiting time, the pen and tablet work perfectly fine.
