Intuos4 lights turned off when plugged in

Postby gilreich » Sun 19. Mar 2017, 12:14

I'm trying to help a friend installing her Intuos4 on her brand new ASUS laptop (windows 10).
We installed the newest driver and plugged the tablet in but the tablet's lights won't turn on. The pen works, but without any pressure, just like a regular mouse.
She tried reinstalling the newest driver: Didn't work.
She tried an older driver: Didn't work.
She tried a different USB: Didn't work.
She's restarted her laptop, unplugged the tablet...nothing seems to work.

Her Intuos4 works very well on her old laptop (HP, windows 7), but it's old and slow so she can't use it anymore, not for drawing.

Are there any other solutions we haven't thought of?

Thanks in advance!
