Intuos Tablet too sensitive while drawing

Postby GhostEridani » Sun 11. Jun 2017, 23:18

So today after not drawing with my Intuos tablet for a while, I noticed that I didn't get nearly the pressure range that I used to. When I now use a pressure that I would normally consider to be lightly gracing the surface of the tablet, it quickly maxes the pressure out, giving me a way thicker line than I of course intended to draw.

I've checked the settings in the tablet properties and even with the tip pressure set to the most firm possible, it's still abysmal in its pressure range.

This and other weird things only started happening after I updated my tablet about 1-2 weeks ago, so perhaps I just need to install an older driver but I figured I'd ask around here first.

My tablet is currently running on the latest driver for Intuos, 6.3.22-6, and I use Photoshop CS6.

You can check pen pressure in the driver diagnostics (under About in the control panel), backup and reset the driver settings should revert evrything to the default settings.
