Intous 5 (no driver found, no device connected) FIXED

Postby Silence102 » Wed 28. Jun 2017, 17:11

Hello all
I was sitting and drawing, then left to do some things, and when I came back, my pc had had an issue and needed a restart.
Now my tablet isn't working. The computer sees it, but I get the issues from wacom center that there's "no device connected", and if I try to open the tablet properties, it says "no driver found" despite there being a driver when I look at device manager.

I've tried every fix I can find on google, which includes;
- Restarting
- Installing newest driver, then restarting
- Installing previous drivers with the usb out of dock, then restarting
- Uninstalling drivers, then re-installing previous drivers
- Installing previous drivers with firewall off
- Restarting wacom service in services (several times and more or less after each restart)
- Stopping, and then restarting wacom center in services
- Updating my computer and checked that all usb drivers are updated.

...nothing works.
It works as a mouse when connected, so I guess it's not a hardware fail. It does however have some issues when I click on anything, and it likes to click spontaneously. The wireless doesn't work either. The tablet is about 2 years old.

Any help is much appreciated, I'm going out of my mind and I'm out of fixes :(

Unplug the USB cable, wait some seconds and plug it back in - better use direct connection instead of USB hub - then open Wacom Desktop Center -> Backup Settings -> Reset Settings (or Restore Setting, if you made a backup when all was working).
