Pen compatibility question

Postby roboguy88 » Wed 9. Aug 2017, 12:35

I'm considering buying a used Intuos4. Problem is, the current owner has lost the pen. I already have a (somewhat antiquated) Graphire2, with its original pen. My question is: are the pens based on a similar enough chipset that I could use my Graphire pen with the Intuos4 tablet?

Please be aware that Intuos 4 is out of sales since 2012. Regular support for S/M/WL/L will end 2018.
The Graphire 2 pen is not compatible.

If you want to have a replacement pen, please use a KP- pen. KP-501E would be the original Grip Pen, but KP-503E (Pro Pen) works as well. Or chose one of the "special" pens: Inking Pen: KP-130 / Art Pen: KP-701E / Classic Pen: KP-300E / Airbrush: KP-400E
