Problem connecting Intuos Pro Paper via USB

Postby sz3rm13rz » Fri 1. Sep 2017, 22:53

Hi,

I just bought my wife a nice new Intuos Pro Paper Medium, unboxed it, and neither of us can get Inkspace to add it as a device.

Tried reinstalling drivers, the application, searched this forum, search the Internet using Google for a solution.

Has this Intuos purchase been a big waste of money? I've seen on this forum there are others who have the same problem. And a history of problems connecting Wacom tablets and driver issues.

I purchased from the Wacom website. Has anyone requested a refund? Yet?

Intuos Paper Pro USB device not found

Postby sz3rm13rz » Sat 2. Sep 2017, 05:01

Hi,

I bought my wife a new Wacom Intuos Paper Pro Medium and cannot get our MacBook Pro with OS X to find the device.

Installed the latest driver, restart, later a reinstall, but no matter what can't get the software to recognise the tablet over USB.

I saw other had this same problem but not solutions.

Can no one get Wacom Intuos Paper Pro Medium to work with OS X?

Matt

Does the tablet work in general?
Did you update the driver to the latest version?
Did you update the Intuos Pro Firmware to the latest version?

Here are the steps to connect:
Inkspace will setup a device to connect. If does not see a connected device it will ask you to connect one.

Connecting to Bluetooth: Even if the customer is already connected to Bluetooth, Inkspace will require a re-pair. Turn power button on by holding the power button for 2 or more seconds.

To enter pairing mode, press and hold the center button for 3 seconds. Then press connect.

Inkspace will then search for the tablet

Once Inkspace finds the device, press the center button once to confirm.

Pairing is finished, if you have a USB cable connected instead using BT, you will be brought straight to this page, choose your orientation.

Set up is now finished
